School District Accounting: 101
This course will address the accounting cycle and governmental fund accounting, including principles of debits and credits, the general ledger, understanding a balance sheet and correcting entries. Participants will prepare entries using the double-entry bookkeeping system, prepare and record adjusting entries, a trial balance, and close a set of books using an accounting worksheet in excel.
