Reading comprehension is the most difficult skill to master,
especially for our English Language Learners (ELLs). This training will incorporate research based
sheltered instructional practices that will support ELLs in comprehending
expository text as they learn how to make high level social studies
connections. Join us for a day of engaging strategies that will connect ELAR,
to Social Studies, to Sheltered Instruction which will enrich critical thinking
as well as improve the reading comprehension of your ELL students. Come join us
and help your students become confident,
successful thinkers and readers.
