Let's Get Coding!!!
This workshop, presented by the founder of Youth Code Jam in collaboration with WeTeach_Computer Science Program, will show you how to uniquely engage youth, their parents and community volunteers and get them excited about computer programming in a proven, one-of-a-kind event that's easily manageable and scalable. We will share best practices from the largest youth coding event in Texas and lessons learned over the last seven years of running this program, including a perspective on working with neuro-diverse students. Bring your laptops, because we’ll get hands-on with coding station projects to take back to your school. It’ll be a fun day of computational thinking and computer programming inspiration!
