Presented by Jon Lasser.
The assessment of children and adolescents with low incidence disorders presents unique challenges. Many of the assessment skills and tools that are used with more common presenting problems simply don’t apply when working with students who have multiple disabilities and significant cognitive impairments. This webinar reviews the best practices for assessing individuals with low emphasis disorders, with special attention to the measurement of adaptive behavior skills and non-traditional assessment methods. Participants will gain specific knowledge regarding the collection of valid and relevant data to inform decision-making teams, making recommendations, and linking assessment data to intervention.
