This session of M.A.T.H. will provide instruction and practice for participants in regards to the various calculation strategies within the current math standards.  Participants will leave this session with flexibility in how they approach addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  From place-value strategies to calculating on number lines, from whole numbers to decimals, fractions and integers, from area models to the ratio table and proportionality, a multitude of alternative calculation strategies will be explored.  Materials and activities experienced during the session will be ready to use immediately in the classroom.

** DISTRICTS THAT ARE A MEMBER OF THE "CLASSROOM CONTENT" CONTRACTED SERVICE HAVE PRE-PAID FOR CONTENT TRAININGS, AND THEIR TEACHERS WILL NOT BE CHARGED WORKSHOP FEES.  However, some sessions may still include minimal fees intended to recoup costs for materials or resources provided in the session (such as resources/activity books, etc.)  Participants continue with the registration process, and the WORKSHOP fee will be waived at check-out.
