Providing Effective Access: Considering, Evaluating and Implementing Assistive Techology
Share
This training will ensure effective consideration, evaluation and implementation of Assistive Technology so that students can access their learning environment and TEKs curriculum. Following an overview of merging of SETT, WATI and DATE protocols participants will get hands on practice at using the process and will explore AT in the ARD process, including how AT evaluations fit into IEP development.
Finally, ongoing support to implement and assess implementation will be discussed and practiced.
This will include examples of assessments of students with a broad range of needs, i.e. fully included students with autism and learning disabilities to students with multiple disabilities participating in a self-contained classroom.
