First Aid is an instructor lead course that teaches students critical skills to
respond and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency
medical services (EMS) arrives. Participants learn skills such as how to treat
bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.
In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies and work as a team to provide CPR to victims of all ages.
This course is approved for HealthCare provider certification by the
American Heart Association.
