CACFP Management Plans and Procurement




During these trainings, CACFP contracting entities will learn about Kitchen Math, Food Buying Guide, Menu Planning for Child Care, Planning Nutritious Snacks, Feeding Infants in their First Year and Food Production Records.

Important Session Information:


Participants will review the components of a Management Plan as well as the elements of a Procurement Plan, including the phases, methods, and record-keeping requirements, in order to determine if adjustments should be made.  Participants will evaluate their approved budget, the financial tool, as well as their current procurement documents to determine any changes needed for their organization.
