Mind body skills strategies use the power of the mind to manage stress, pain and difficult life events and leads to increased resilience and coping. These skills are effective for people of all ages and are easily adapted for use in all settings! This session will be interactive and will give participants an introductory opportunity to learn and practice skills such as breath work, focused attention, grounding, movement, mindfulness, guided imagery and expressive arts. Good strategies for all our students of any age and for ourselves!
PLEASE NOTE: This session will be held virtually via Zoom. Participants will need computer access with a speaker, microphone and video capability in order to fully participate. Registration confirmation will include Zoom meeting link information and participants will receive a reminder email a day or two before the session that will also contain the Zoom meeting information.
