Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System




The Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) is the Commissioner recommended teacher evaluation system for the state of Texas.  This training is recommended for anyone who will be appraising teachers. In addition to this training, all T-TESS appraisers must have Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) certification before appraising teachers. ILD or ILT certification received prior to Jan. 1, 2016 is an acceptable substitute for AEL certfication.
