A Beginner's Guide to the First Year Teaching Math - Part 5

Workshop specifically for Math Professionals.

Important Session Information:

FOR BRAND NEW MATH TEACHERS - The first year teaching math is challenging enough in a traditional classroom setting.  When you add in all the uncertainties currently facing us, even veteran teachers feel rocked.  Get hooked up early in the year, and let’s tackle your first year teaching math together!  We will provide new math teachers with information and materials that are not only current in today’s educational climate, but also are specific to the math classroom.  If you are a brand new teacher, or even if you’ve taught before and this is your first year teaching math, this series is what you need!

Of particular focus in session five will be academic growth for all students, using data and assessment results to guide instruction, understanding accountability for students and teachers, and targeting the proper level of rigor our everyday with math lessons and activities.  Materials and strategies from this session will be ready to implement immediately in the classroom.

** DISTRICTS THAT ARE A MEMBER OF THE "CLASSROOM CONTENT" CONTRACTED SERVICE HAVE PRE-PAID FOR CONTENT TRAININGS, AND THEIR TEACHERS WILL NOT BE CHARGED WORKSHOP FEES.
