Important Session Information:
This workshop is part of the 30 hours of required training for teachers of G/T students as mandated in the State Plan for the Education of the Gifted/Talented Student. Participants will examine the process of nomination, identification, & placement into the gifted program. In this self-paced course, participants will learn about Texas law and SBOE rule concerning the assessment and identification of G/T students. Participants will contribute ideas to the discussion board, share their own experiences, and research related information. Participants have 7 days to complete this 6hr. course. The course can be accessed 24/7.
