Texas Workforce Solutions provides adult postsecondary services to youth with disabilities. This session is to provide an oversight of the services and supports available to students with disabilities receiving supports through special education or Section 504 prior to high school graduation.
The session will provide collaboration time public school districts to work with the Texas Workforce develop transition referral processes for students with disabilities to the adult agency.
Public school special education Transition Employment Designees (TEDs), Section 504 coordinators, school counselors would benefit from this session.
This session is able to support both remote and in-person participation. All Texas Workforce staff will be in-person at the ESC Region 3 building to facilitate discussions with school personnel.
