How to Recognize and Manage Trauma in the Classroom-for Teachers
Share
Content specifically for Behavior.
Important Session Information:
Trauma is all around us and can be difficult to identify as it can be displayed in ways that look like other mental health issues or delays. This training will give you a broad overview of what trauma is and may look like in the classroom. We will discuss how to manage behaviors/feelings associated with trauma across all age groups. This training will include the scope of COVID as we know that the pandemic can be traumatic and add to student/educator levels of stress. We will identify what it means to be a trauma focused classroom and a trauma focused campus and how this can positively impact students' overall mental health and performance.
