This workshop will enhance your knowledge and skills in the area of child sexual abuse by addressing, recognizing, (victims and perpetrators), responding and reporting child sexual abuse in an effort to intervene, prevent and protect. Many abused children will tell someone at school, someone they like and trust. Be prepared, learn the proper response to a child's outcry; the wrong response could affect their chance for recovery. You will hear real case investigations throughout the workshop that will help you relate to the material for a full understanding of victims, predators, how to respond and what to report. If you work with children, supervise staff or oversee discipline, you need this training.
PLEASE NOTE: This session will be in person at The Kids Theater at Parkway Church, 4802 John Stockbauer Dr, Victoria, TX 77904 but will be contingent upon the CDC and Region 3 health and safety procedures in place at the time of the session. It may be moved to a virtual platform if necessary.
