Social and emotional learning (SEL) helps students develop skills of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision making, and relationship skills. This area is a new requirement for the 2021-2022 school year. The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) Program Guide sets the standard for best practices in the area of SEL. This session will examine the CASEL program guide and survey available SEL programs and options for a comprehensive school program.
