STAAR will be shifting towards more innovative, interactive item types with less emphasis on traditional multiple-choice assessment. Join this engaging session not only to learn about new item types but also how to use strategies that prepare students for the level of thinking and skills needed to be successful on the new STAAR. Participants will receive practical, ready to use strategies.
While the focus of this workshop is science, evidence shows expository science text is being focused on in the ELAR STAAR Assessment. We encourage ELAR teachers to join us for the cross curricular connections and strategies that will benefit both subjects.
Districts that are part of the Classroom Content Contracted Services receive a discounted fee of $100.00.
