This workshop will discuss crisis supports and suicide prevention for students on the Autism Spectrum. Topics covered will be how to best communicate with an autistic person in crisis, how people with autism may present in crisis, how to support and help regulate an autistic person in crisis, and the latest research in unique risk factors and warning signs for autistic people.
