This is a workshop specifically designed for Central Office and Campus Administrators to provide information on both RLA and Math Research-Base Instructional Strategies (RBIS). Participants will learn the framework of the RBIS in order to support their teachers and implement strong research-based strategies on their campuses. The RBIS are sets of both RLA and Math research-based practices that require conceptual or philosophical changes in approach to instruction and are supported by research and should be present in all classrooms, regardless of instructional materials. A focus will be on the strategies necessary to maintain high rigor and expectations across all classrooms.
