This session walks through the Summary of Finance Template (aka Omar’s Template) line by line to help attendees better understand the elements that impact school funding. Districts are encouraged to bring district data and work through the template during the session with assistance from experienced school finance professionals. Attendees will leave the workshop with updated revenue projections for the fiscal year, more accurate state program allotment budgets, and insight to current year over/under payment.
We look forward to you joining us. The session will be held at the Region 3 ESC office located at 1905 Leary Lane in Victoria, Tx. Please park in the back of the building and enter through the double glass doors. Someone will be there to greet you and direct you to your training room. The temperatures could fluctuate in the building so if you tend to be cold, you may consider bringing a light sweater or jacket. All visitors and attendees must wear their district/campus identification badge.
