Writing Appropriate Measurable Postsecondary Goals 24-25 - Virtual




Special Education PD is open to educators of all roles serving the diverse needs of all students, unless otherwise specified in workshop description.

Important Session Information:


Virtual Option: This is a TEA required training for Transition Designees 24-25. The Student-Centered Transitions Network created this course to give Texas educators the information and tools to write appropriate measurable postsecondary goals for students with disabilities.
Upon course completion, you will know how to write appropriate measurable postsecondary goals.  You will understand the role appropriate measurable postsecondary goals play in transition planning.

You will identify strategies students can use to demonstrate self-determination skills in developing appropriate measurable postsecondary goals for their individualized education programs (IEP).
After completion of this course, you will be eligible to receive 1 on 1 coaching from your ESC transition specialist upon your request! Coaching will consist of a minimum of 4 individualized sessions based on your needs identified through the course.
