Participants must attend the entire training session to receive professional standards credit for the class. Late arrival or early departure may result in forfeiture of training credit.

This Child and Adult Meal Pattern Requirements training features the updated requirements for serving nutritious meals and snacks to child and adult participants, as outlined in the latest CACFP meal patterns. Through this comprehensive six-hour training, participants will explore the updates to the child and adult meal patterns, as well as tips and strategies for implementation.
The course covers essential financial management principles, procurement procedures, and guidelines on allowable costs. Participants will learn to identify, document, and justify program expenditures, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and fostering effective financial oversight.
This course is designed to assist personnel responsible for managing the operational, financial, and procurement functions of child and adult nutrition programs with procedural knowledge and resources to prepare for an Administrative Review. This course is not designed to teach the programmatic concepts of operating the CACFP.
