This annual conference, to be held virtually and face-to-face, features various sessions in relation to dyslexia, including research, response to intervention, assessment, accommodations, legal issues, and much more. The goal of the conference is to bring current and practical information to a diverse audience of teachers, reading specialists, interventionists, speech language pathologists, diagnosticians, administrators, and others.
As a result of learning, participants will
1. Identify evidence-based practices for serving students with the disability condition of dyslexia.
2. Connect with other professionals to share information, ideas, and best practices for successfully fulfilling the role of a school-based dyslexia professional.
3. Create a plan to implement new learning into actionable steps to improve outcomes for students served.
