Instructional Strategies for the Mathematics Classroom



Participants will be given the opportunity to experience a variety of instructional strategies that address engagement, notetaking, discourse, and formative assessment. This session will explore the purpose of each strategy, the process and alternatives for implementing each strategy, and possibilities for how the strategy can be used in the mathematics classroom. The session includes an online follow up for participants to post their experiences using the strategies, as well as feedback on this piece from instructional specialists.
