The 4 Tenets of IEP Meeting Leadership and Facilitation Module 4: Breaking Through an Impasse

This course focuses on what every leader should know and be able to do to reconvene and facilitate a successful Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting. This training is focused on 3 training objectives: Preparing campus leaders for meeting success by building awareness and functional knowledge of critical issues, increasing collaboration through building leaders’ skills in reaching consensus, preventing and managing conflict through a facilitated IEP process, and problem solving many of the common pitfalls that leaders may encounter in contentious situations throughout the special education process. The target stakeholder audience for this course is composed of campus administrators, principals, assistant principals, district administrators, campus staff and parents. This course may be taken on its own or as part of The 4 Tenets of IEP Meeting Leadership and Facilitation series
