50 Strategies for Teaching English Language Learners





Learn research-based strategies to improve the academic achievement of English language learners (ELLs). Participants will explore strategies for:
• Building vocabulary and fluency, such as “Reporting Back: Verbal Practice in Curricular Connections"
• Supporting student involvement, such as “Level Questions: Adjusting Questioning Strategies to the Language Levels of students”
• Building comprehension, such as “Multiple Intelligences Strategies: Teaching and Testing to Student-Preferred Learning Modes”
