Personal Financial Literacy Curriculum by the Federal Reserve





Personal Financial Literacy, a new social studies course, joined the social studies curriculum across Texas in the fall of 2016. This Dallas Fed workshop is based on a scope and sequence for the course, uses free resources tied to the standards, and covers all TEKS for the course. Participants in the one day session will have a chance to go over the scope and sequence and receive an overview of materials. All participants will receive a binder of materials. Participants in the two day workshop will take a deeper dive into the materials and discuss best practices and classroom strategies in detail. Course will be taught by Federal Reserve staff members.
