The Texas Online College and Career Readiness Resource Center (OCCRRC) was launched in October 2014 through a partnership with the Texas Education Agency. The goal of the OCCRRC is to deepen knowledge and make resources available to all Texas stakeholders in positively impacting the successful student pursuit of post-secondary opportunities leading to high skill, high wage, and high demand careers.

This workshop will allow participants the opportunity to:

• access the latest and most current research and best practices available for college and career readiness
• discuss and share best practices around college and career readiness
• deeply explore the comprehensive Online College & Career Readiness Resource Center that consists of 22 credit-bearing online lessons, informational modules, and numerous resources and tools
• gain a better understanding of what it means to be college and career ready

In addition, information will be shared regarding how individuals can earn continuing education credits for the professional development opportunities within the OCCRRC.
