New Teacher Academy: PPCD and Prekindergarten Teachers

Attend this series of trainings to learn how to create a high quality preschool classroom that supports the success of ALL students, including those with disabilities. Topics include planning for intentional teaching by creating an effective learning environment, developing a consistent daily schedule, promoting active engagement during all parts of the daily routine, using work stations and small group instruction to teach, and providing positive and supportive adult/child interactions. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.
