Summer Evaluation Institute Preconference
Using Professional Judgment When Interpreting FIE Data





Attend this preconference to acquire the latest information regarding student evaluation processes. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.

Important Session Information:



This session will be focused on integrating multiple methods of assessment (including informal, criterion-referenced, curriculum-based, and norm-referenced/standardized) through a comprehensive assessment process and synthesizing interpretation procedures and professional judgment decisions about a student’s strengths and weaknesses, and the criteria for a disability condition. The presenters will share case study examples and sample conclusions about student evaluations and the interpretations of the evaluation data, focusing on interpreting data for Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability (particularly drawing conclusions from the X-BASS), and Dyslexia.
