Adapting Books for Preschoolers in Inclusive Classrooms

This hands-on session will utilize typical classic books that you will adapt for the differentiation of instruction in inclusive settings for preschoolers with disabilities (PPCD) and preschool English Language Learners (ELLs).  We will use the Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO), the Emerging Literacy: Reading and Writing Domains in tandem with the Language and Communication Domain to guide us as we read, share, and create two specially adapted books for your students.  Come on! Don't walk! Run to have fun! We'll talk and we'll work and then we'll be done! And home you will go with two books in tow!
