Write for Texas: Teaching for Transfer for Secondary Students

For students to be successful learners, they need to have all facets of knowledge (factual, procedural, conceptual, metacognitive) working in tandem so they can apply this knowledge to new literacy demands and tasks. In this workshop, participants will learn how to plan for and deliver reading and writing instruction in meaningful ways that build the capacities of students to interact with complex texts and academic challenges.

*Session materials and costs are funded through the Write For Texas grant.
