Step Up Your Menu - Breakfast and Snack Ideas for CACFP





Participants will learn how to utilize the new CACFP meal pattern rule to revamp breakfast and snack menus. This class will show participants how to substitute meat/meat alternates for grain component. Participants will be able to identify the benefits of consuming protein at breakfast, cycle menu ideas for breakfast and snack meal pattern, ways to add variety to current offerings, and demonstrate how to maximize reimbursement dollars.
