Using Cognitive Skills, such as Making an Inference and Predictions, to Increase Comprehension Grades K-2





Making Inferences and predictions lead students to think deeply about texts and is foundational for reading comprehension. In this session, explore ways to deepen student understanding through metacognition and teacher-friendly scaffolds to explicitly teach students to make inferences and monitor and adjust comprehension to process text.
