Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment Training of Trainers (TX-KEA TOT)

The Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment (TX-KEA) is designed for use by educators to screen children's school readiness upon their entry into Kindergarten. TX-KEA helps schools determine whether students have mastered developmental benchmarks, as described in the Texas PreK Guidelines and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. In this session, participants will receive training on the appropriate administration of the TX-KEA and an overview of reports that can be generated to inform and identify further needs assessments for students. This session is for both classroom teachers and district staff who are charged with providing district/campus training.
