Effective Instructional Coaching Practices for Coaches of Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers

Explore the roles of an instructional coach, the tools available for instructional coaches, and how to effectively implement the coaching cycle to support prekindergarten and kindergarten teachers in improving quality of instruction. We will discuss how instructional coaches can also set themselves up for success by communicating effectively with teachers and administrators, staying up to date on research based practices, and reflecting on their own coaching abilities for continual improvement.
