Building Academic Language in the Mathematics Classroom

Learning Mathematics, Learning Language.  Explore ways to help students build content knowledge and acquire academic language in the math classroom.  Experience and practice selected mathematical language routines developed by Understanding Language/SCALE from Stanford University. Embedded practice and immediate feedback prepares participants for seamless integration into the classroom.
