Social and Emotional Needs of the Gifted - Online





Examine the social and emotional needs of the gifted  student. Learn to recognize the behaviors of gifted children and how they can affect their social and academic skills. Explore some strategies to help students become aware of their intense feelings and sensitivities. In this self-paced online course, participants will listen to lectures, submit reflections, and pass short quizzes for each module of the course. Participants must submit accurate email addresses in order to receive course log-on information.

Registration for the course ends at midnight on June 5, 2019, and the course starts on June 10, 2019. You will receive login and course information no later than June 8, 2019. An email with information to complete a course evaluation and print a certificate will be sent after the course closes (June 28, 2019) and all assignments have been graded.
