Explore resources and strategies to help pre-kindergarten through grade 3 educators reach and teach young gifted children through a book study of Teaching Gifted Children in Today’s Preschool and Primary Classrooms by Joan Franklin Smutny, Dr. Sally Yahnke Walker, and Dr. Ellen I. Honeck.  In addition to reading relevant portions of this resource, participants will complete a series of discussion and application questions to earn 6 hours of G/T credit.Participants are responsible for obtaining a copy of this book. The book study will be hosted on Blackboard™. Course information will be sent during the week prior to the book study's start date.

Registration for this course closes on midnight on July 17, 2019, and this online course begins July 22, 2019. You will receive login and course information no later than July 20, 2019. After the course has closed on August 16 and all remaining assignments have been graded, an email with information to complete a course evaluation and print a certificate will be sent to all participants.
