Collaborate as a team during this two-day session to increase reading outcomes for English language learners and non-English learner students with a visual impairment. Day one will explore specific reading strategies and accommodations that are concrete in nature for these special populations. Day two will focus on implementation and results of these and other strategies and tools. Participants must register as a campus or district team of at least two different disciplines. Team members may include a reading teacher, ELL teacher, VI teacher, instructional coach, intervention specialist, or speech and language pathologist.
