Are you looking for job-embedded professional development for teachers and coaches that focuses on implementing research-based practices in the classroom? Texas Lesson Study (TXLS) is a collaborative process that will help you tackle your campus goals and empower teachers to facilitate meaningful collaboration during PLCs.

Leave with an understanding of the TXLS process and the tools to implement it on your campus or in your district, including lessons learned through Region 4 support of TXLS around our region. 

Campus leaders, Instructional coaches, lead teachers, and other campus or district specialists interested in facilitating Texas Lesson Study (TXLS) on their campus are invited to attend this session, at no cost to you!


Important Session Information:



Instructional coaches, lead teachers, and district specialists interested in facilitating Texas Lesson Study (TXLS) on their campus are invited to attend this two-day session. Participants will acquire the tools needed to implement Texas Lesson Study, understand the expectations for TXLS implementation, and establish a plan for carrying out TXLS on their campus with support from a Region 4 TXLS Facilitator. Resources for the successful facilitation of TXLS groups will be provided. Prerequisite: Complete the Texas Lesson Study Facilitator Training online course found at www.texascourses.org. This course, provided by TEA, is an overview of the entire TXLS project. Participants will receive 8 CPE credit hours upon completion. Please bring your certificate to the two day face-to-face training.
