Emergency Operations Plan Development Workshop
Texas School Safety Center



The Texas School Safety Center, in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency, will present Emergency Operations Plan Development Workshops for the 2018-19 school year. This interactive workshop is designed to help schools refine and develop comprehensive high-quality emergency management plans and processes. The goal of each workshop is to allow schools and local partners to work collaboratively to strengthen preparedness; support safe, secure learning environments; and to respond efficiently and effectively during emergencies.

Region 4 is pleased to announce that we have partnered with the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) to bring to you a one-day Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) Workshop. The workshop is intended for school emergency managers, risk managers, safety managers, facilities managers and integrated school teams that should be included in the planning process. Registration for the workshop may be found at the TxSSC’s website at: https://txssc.txstate.edu/events/eop-workshops/. Please share with other members of your district that are a part of your integrated planning team. This will be a hands-on collaborative workshop; please plan to bring a copy of your district or campus plan and be ready to discuss with other participants the strengths and weaknesses you identify.
