From Interaction to Emerging Language: Communication Systems for Students with DeafBlindness, and Multiple Impairments and Visual Impairments (MIVI)

Discover how to initiate conversation and in-turn develop meaningful shared experiences with students with DeafBlindness and MIVI. Strategies for developing and implementing routines and calendar systems as part of a holistic "communication system" will be shared. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state and federal grants.

Important Session Information:



TSHA CE hours will be available for SLPs and SLP Assistants that sign in before the speaker begins and stay for the entire 2-day session. On-going road construction around the Region 4 area may cause traffic delays that could interfere with acquisition of CE hours. Please allow extra time to ensure prompt arrival time. Partial credit will not be available. This session is partially funded through state and federal grants.
