Best Practices in Identifying Dyslexia in the FIE



Attend this session to explore the definitions and characteristics of Dyslexia and Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and understand the Dyslexia and SLD identification process through a differential diagnosis approach.

Participants will learn the domains to assess for Dyslexia, including achievement, cognitive processes, and other related areas; use a pattern of strengths and weaknesses as part of the evaluation process; and reflect on the special education pathway of dyslexia assessment and identification.
