This training is for campus teams made up of 5-7 members representative of the campus stakeholders. Teams must include an administrator, special educator, general educator across grades/subjects, and consider representation from other roles on the campus, such as counselor, LSSP, police, parent, additional staff (i.e. custodial or lunch staff), who would be appropriate to include within the team. Complete teams should register. This training is not appropriate for individuals without teams. The entire team must attend all 3 days and all day of each session.
The campus team will engage in activities that support the ten critical elements for tier 1 implementation. Completion of a baseline Benchmarks of Quality (BoQ) assessment for implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) at the school-wide level and action plan will be completed. This training will focus on exemplar practices for creating sustainable multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) at the campus level.
***In order to register for this course you must contact Shelley Garza at sgarza@esc4.net for the campus team document.
