Special Education Overview

Description: Special Education Overview is an online training designed to provide participants a basic understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, state and federal laws, and legislative requirements related to special education. This training is appropriate for special education staff as well as general education staff that may require information to help them understand and comply with policies and procedures as they provide educational services to students with disabilities. The course offers 3 hours of professional development as well as Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association (TSHA) CE hours.
