National Presenter Series for Inclusive Practices
Helping Students to Keep Moving Forward with Dr. Debbie Silver





The National Presenter Series for Inclusive Practices offers participants a unique opportunity to hear some of the leading national experts in education for diverse learners.  Participants will receive information on innovative strategies to support accessibility and proficiency for all learners inclusive of students with disabilities. The trainings support the Texas Teacher Standards and the Domains within the Texas Teacher Evaluation Support System (TTESS).  Join us for this unique and exciting opportunity.

Ever wonder why those who “seem to have everything” often fail to maximize their potential? Do you teach students who not only refuse to try but also become obstinate when asked to attempt new or novel concepts? Based on her research for her books, Fall Down 7 Times, Get Up 8: Helping Students Succeed and Teaching Kids to Thrive—Those Other Essential Skills, Dr. Debbie Silver explores the phenomena of why both high-flyers and struggling learners often quit trying. Using her trademark humor, candor, and wisdom, Dr. Silver offers a cogent, convincing message to educators about how to use effective feedback to improve learning.
