In this full day presentation, participants will gain greater holistic insight into themselves and into their clients and caretakers. They will also learn tools for addressing emotions, both positive and painful. The presenter will provide various counseling attitudes and specific techniques on listening and the use of language when communicating with clients and their families. Specific scenarios will be demonstrated via lecture, slides, video excerpts, and exercises.
