Autism and Social Communication Deficits: Addressing Behavior, Executive Function and Social Skills in a School Setting





This session will cover the components of social communication and present effective strategies and evidence-based practices to improve behavior, executive function and social skills in school aged individuals with social communication deficits.  Videos of strategies being used in a school setting and hands-on activities will be provided. 



Important Session Information:



TSHA CE hours will be available for SLPs and SLP Assistants that sign in before the speaker begins and stay for the entire session. On-going road construction around the Region 4 area may cause traffic delays that could interfere with acquisition of CE hours. Please allow extra time to ensure prompt arrival time. Partial credit will not be available. This session is partially funded through state and federal grants.
