Standards-Based IEP Process
for preschoolers with special education needs

Attend this session to learn more about the standards-based IEP process.  The primary focus of the training is on the Full Individual Evaluation (FIE), Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) development, writing goals and objectives, and progress monitoring. Participants will understand the importance of these components and how their alignment results in a well-developed program for students with disabilities.  Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.

*Please note that the Standards-Based IEP participant manuals used in this session will be replaced by a training from the Texas Education Agency in 2021-2022.
